In our first prenatal visit we discuss your birthing desires. We discuss options available specific to your birth location and your personal preferences. We answer questions that will help you in formulating your birth plan/vision to empower you in achieving your birthing goals. We will do an initial assessment of your alignment and suggest tools and practices to help balance and strengthen your body to provide the optimal space for the baby and provide optimal comfort for your pregnancy and ease for your birth.

In our second prenatal we walk you through what your birthing time might look like and discuss techniques and comfort measures. We will bring a labor cloth for you so you can actively participate and feel comfortable using it. We also discuss what to expect during the postpartum period and offer resources for support during this transition.

If additional Body Ready Method® coaching is desired we will visit two more times (for an additional fee of $200). During these visits we will do an in depth assessment of your alignment and movement patterns following up from our initial recommendations, and create an individualized plan to better balance and strengthen your body during pregnancy which will then positively impact your birth and postpartum recovery.
BRM® is based on five pillars (upper body, core, pelvis, pelvic floor, and movement patterns) that give a well rounded approach to childbirth preparation. We are careful to not overwhelm you, but guide you step by step to optimize your body for birth. Incorporating these pillars into your movement during pregnancy can help you to
